This video is about the unexpected body changes that one might ecperience after taking a GLP-! for weight loss. A Glp 1 is another name for semaglutide, Wgivy, Mounjaro and Ozempic. The body changes like loose abdomen skin, deflated buttucks and overall loose skin all over the body. Many of the extreme weight loss changes are specific to GLP 1’s and i have linked the articles I used for research below,
This video will talk about invasive and noninvasive plastic surgery that can remedy the changes but we will also talk about nonsurgical alternatives.

  1. I really enjoy your videos specially this kind. I’m on my own weight loss journey. So it’s extra personal to me. I’m down 30 lbs. People have told me told me not to lose more weight because I’m going to disappear. 😂 I don’t think my body can ever be that small. Im about 2
15 lbs from my goal. Thanks to Wegovy I can finally be at a “normal” and healthy weight. I am considering plastic surgery once I reach my goal.

  2. Just in case someone needed to hear this: You don’t have to loose weight. Weight and health are sometimes linked but skinnier doesn’t necessarily mean healthier. Genetics play a huge part in how much you weigh for example, not just diet and exercise. Of course you can loose weight if you want to. But remember you’re enough, you’re beautiful no matter what and bodies shouldn’t be trends. If you do it, do it for yourself and in a healthy way ♥️

  3. I’m on a weight loss journey and for reasons unknown only see the scale move when I eat 1400 calories, I lost 75 pounds alone and then started mounjaro and have lost 30 pounds since xmas. Still eating the 1400 calories but im not hungry all the time now. The scale also doesn’t move if I don’t exercise..I wish I was able to lose by just taking the shot and not having to count every calorie and exercise all the time. I’ve noticed aging in my face and sagging skin on my arms and legs…belly too but I’ve always had issues there from previous weight loss.

  4. How long can someone take this? I just wonder once they lose the weight, how long they can stay on this medication if it’s not medically needed. Aren’t they just going to put the weight back on once they off of it ?

  6. At my thinnest I always had a pouch. I would take these meds but I wouldn’t dare take it away from people who really need it.

  7. This is an important thing to keep in mind. It baffles me that celebrities like the Kardashians who (honestly) probably didn’t need to lose weight still go to do it. I am on Wegovy and it’s been life changing to go through the weight loss. I’m suppose I’m lucky that I’m still under 30 so I’m not seeing the loose skin, but my 40 point weight loss took me a year. One of the reasons I took the medication was because I wanted to lose it more steadily. I appear that I’ve been coasting a bit around 138 lbs now and not all the weight I want to, but considering I was considered obese by some standards to now a mid-healthy weight is amazing. Fitness incorporation has been very slow, but I’m focused on eating right and being mindful of HOW MUCH I can eat first. Hope this insight is helpful. Otherwise, great vid as always Lorry!

  8. I started taking Wegovy on Friday. Biggest symptom is the nausea! Not the worst I’ve ever had but definitely the most consistent. My physician advised that I shouldn’t lose the weight too quickly so instead of one month on each dose, I’m going to take them for three.

  9. we want easy and fast “Solutions´´ that we lose sight of what the consequences could be in the short, medium or long term. This can be applied to any area of life. It can be applied to politics too. Quick and effective solutions do not exist.

  11. I used to be overweight my entire life until last year when I decided to finally change something (I’m 21). I lost 45KG (my weight is 98kg now) and even tho I’m quite young I unfortunately have sooo much loose skin on my arms legs and stomach. I’m now planning to go to the gym and build muscles and I really hope it’s going to help a bit, because I’m too afraid of the surgery. It’s really frustrating..

  12. I lost 90+ lbs 10 years ago and still struggle with looser skin. This is the reality of massive weight loss, especially if done quickly
