I know the secret to weight loss after 60. Best of all, it won’t cost you an arm and a leg. In fact, it may just save you money, while potentially increasing your life span.

No, I’m not talking about exercise, although that is certainly important. Today, I want to talk about intermittent fasting and why it may be one of the most effective ways to reset your body and get the weight loss results that you deserve.

If you are in your 50s, 60s or better and are interested in losing a little weight, I hope that you join the conversation. Intermittent fasting has worked wonders for me and I hope that it can help you.

  1. IF is hard for me, Margaret; I have what’s called, “reactive hypoglycemia”. My blood sugar gets very low, even though I’m not diabetic, thank God. So, if I skip breakfast, it’s not good; I can’t go to my part-time job in starvation mode. I can stop eating by 6 PM, and maybe, I can manage the 5:2 on days off, but, my body is very strange to me since menopause. 🤔 I think it’s a great idea..my elders believed in fasting every so often to give the digestive system a rest, which I think must be beneficial. I’d love to lose 10-15 lbs this year, so maybe I’ll give it a try. TFS; take good care. Rosemarie 💖

  2. I did the 16:8 during lockdown. Just had water in the morning. Lost 6 lbs pretty quickly. But I really can’t do black coffee, so now I have stopped. Wt. has come back of course.

  3. Yes I’ve been intermittently fasting for nearly two years and it is great. Fasting is not just not eating though. And clean fasting is black coffee, unflavored tea and water. Otherwise it is just a “calorie restricted” diet. A really good coach is DyAnn Parham. On YouTube.
