The weight loss recipe you need! Lentil pasta with buffalo sauce is my first recipe of 2024. Perfect week night dinner. Only 3 ingredients. Full recipe below

Lentil Pasta with Buffalo Sauce and Broccoli
1 1/2 cups lentil pasta
1 to 1 1/2 cups Trader Joes Vegan Buffalo dip
1 16 ounce frozen broccoli
Cook past to package directions.
steam the broccoli according to package directions
Drain the pasta reserving 2 Tablespoons of cooking water
Add the Buffalo sauce and broccoli and mix well. Serve and enjoy!

  2. Pasta!!! Love adding vegan dip/hummus to all my pasta dishes! I made a pasta sauce earlier today and will be cooking pasta/broccoli for dinner tonight too!! Such a great way to dilute the calories, as you stated Debbie! My pasta sauce included (water, veggie broth) sauteed mushrooms, onions, and peppers with 1-2 cans of fire roasted tomatoes. I also added 1/2 cup of red lentils which helps to thicken the sauce. I’ll add a couple of tablespoons of hummus to my pasta/broccoli before topping it with my sauce. Thanks for this recipe, as always!!

  3. For those of us who aren’t blessed with a TJ where we live. The ingredients of Trader Joe’s Vegan Buffalo Style Dip are: cauliflower, cayenne pepper sauce (aged cayenne peppers, distilled vinegar, salt, dried garlic), red peppers, carrots, pumpkin seed kernels, sunflower oil, red onions, oat flour, lime juice, water, cilantro, garlic, and sea salt.

    I am on an absolutely no oil way of eating. Could I sub the buffalo dip by making homemade hummus with tahini, garlic, and Frank’s hot sauce? Thanks for the idea! Happy New Year!
