  1. as a pharmacy technician, we could’t even get any of the semaglutide drug (Ozempic,wegovy..etc) for our diebetic patients. it was so hard for us to watch our patients not be able to receive the medicine that they so desperately need.

  2. if you want to lose weight, stop eating prepackaged empty carb high sugar trash with next to no nutrients.
your body is trying to become nutritionally satiated, and that’s why you’re overeating.
Get yourself an old cook book and start making homemade nutritious meals.

  5. It is the plant based carbohydrate diet that is causing obesity. To lose weight stop eating breakfast cereals, wholegrain breads, nuts and seeds, and anything with vegetables oils. A diet of red meat and saturated animal fats is what works.

  7. In 2021, I had a bad lateral tare in my abdomen. Kept me from work for 3-4 months. I gained wieght. From fall of 2021 to the fall of 2022, I gained more. In November I had enough, and started going back to the gym. I’ve only list 20lbs since i started so I’m only around 70lbs overweight now. My doctor, said I was in the prediabetic range with my blood sugar being so high and gave me the best advice. Read nutrition labels, and try to stay put of the middle of the grocery store. That’s where most of the bad food is. And to cook my meals. It’s only 20lbs, but I’m planning on losing 40 more by the fall of this year. My advice to anyone trying to better themselves is to read labels. Keep the carbs and sugar under 15-20 mg per serving, if it isnt a fruit or veg. And eat meat. It’s a long road. Cheers Brett! Love the video and thanks. My doctor offered me drugs to help with my blood sugar, and I declined to do it the right way. It’s hard and takes a lot of mental fortitude. I’m 47 and it’s not getting. Any easier

  8. Well the dumb sons of bitches are cutting people open rather than you know, telling them to stop eating so much. Of course they’ll sell drugs to “lose weight”. None of these can actually work long term without doing exactly what we have all been doing to be healthy — you know, eating right and getting exercise.

  9. Dr. Shawn Baker did a couple videos about this back in January. The first is “Miracle weight loss drug or ticking time bomb?” and the second is “New weight loss drug backfires and makes Tik Tok “star” more obese!” In them, he talks about how it works and why it really messes things up when you go off of it.

  10. As a person who’s been on the Keto diet for the past 9 months, it’s ok to change the chemical balance as the diet is anti-sugar. You replace the carbs that powers your body with fat. It’s worked great for me and I have changed how I eat completely.

  11. Who cares what drugs there taking if there not hurting anyone else. Supply and demand will kick in and bye bye shortage. As far as doctor recommending it to people that don’t need it, that is a problem.

  12. The original of the song that Ozempic uses came on the other day and my boys started singing the Ozempic song instead because that is the one they know. It is way too ubiquitous.

  13. Doctor here. I generally love the Daily Wire, but some of your medical takes are way off and lack an understanding of medical evidence.

As far as obesity goes, exercise and healthy diet are absolutely important for general health. At the same time, evidence repeatedly shows that even with strictly monitored plans and any medication that helps with weight loss, it is exceedingly hard to keep off weight if you stop all of these interventions. So you can say “if people would just be disciplined” they’d get better, but in reality, it’s much more difficult than that. And trust me, I don’t buy into the fatphobia kind of thing. I actively recommend diet and exercise to patients to try to lose weight, even if it’s a small amount. I’m just pointing out that your expectation that if people just had discipline that the weight would fall off and stay off is not exhibited in real life. These medications are life saving for people with significant obesity, and they really shouldn’t be given unless you’ve also incorporated diet and exercise. Sure there’s a concern for people to abuse it with eating disorders, but doctors should not be prescribing it for anyone in a healthy weight. But yes that is something we have to consider

  14. Soo, I’m diabetic, would love to take Ozempic, but it costs 900++! I hate to break it to Brett, but I am in the morbidly obese category, and I can sit up and even run! I stay away from breads, white rice, flour, bla bla,, 5 kids later…
Also, diabetes is in my genes literally, and I got it as an older person. She is young and spry, and so was I at her age!

  16. We need to spread the word to the Hollywood Elite, the jabs biggest side affects is weight loss but you have to take it on a monthly basis. It will make life better.
