  1. I was on Ozempic for 2 months. I lost 13 lbs and felt so sick. A side effect of it is malaise. Just the thought of food made me sick. I never felt worse in my life.

  2. Whoever wrote that article about Ozempic didn’t have the slightest clue or do the slightest bit of research into how the medication. I’m confused about how people are using this to lose weight who don’t have type 2 diabetes. This is not a medication for prediabetics, it is a medication for those who currently have type 2 diabetics. Though it can be used for prediabetes, Ozempic is usually only prescribed after other medications have failed to treat diabetes effectively so it’s not one prediabetics would usually be prescribed. That said, I know that Hollywood doesn’t usually depend on what health insurance will pay for and use medications “off label” all the time. The way this medication works is nothing like how type 1 diabetes works when one doesn’t take insulin in order to lose weight as it STIMULATES the pancreas to release insulin and the liver to release it into the body more slowly. I’ve been taking this medication for over 2 years (it was FDA approved and released to the public in 2017 so they have more than 2 years of research on it) and it has helped me lose some weight, but it did so by decreasing my appetite by slowing the releasing of food from the stomach. Within a few weeks of starting the medication, I was noticeably just not interested in eating as much because I felt full more quickly and for longer. I am also REALLY thrilled to know that Hollywood is taking a bunch of this medication that they don’t need and making it harder for those of us who really do need it and making it more expensive for those of us who don’t make millions of dollars a year. Sorry for the novel on the medication, but there was just SO much wrong going on here!

  3. it’s all so tiresome. Sleazy behavior is part of that industry and anyone who works there knows it. And this pantomime of offendedness is fucking clownish.

  4. I actually just started taking this. Doctor said it works like a charm. Looking forward to results. 2 weeks in. Definitely am not eating as much!

  5. 3rd. Isn’t an actress whining about costume/wardrobe or like an employee whining about the company dress policy? You can comply or work elsewhere.
