  1. Totally agree with you Melissa. The pharmaceutical industry exists to make a profit. Most research papers, clinical trials etc aren’t worth the paper they are written on and Drs rely on funding from pharmaceutical companies to conduct research, so it’s hardly impartial. My mantra is natural is best, I don’t even take paracetamol unless I absolutely have to.

  2. Hi Melissa, several family members and friends have experienced gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea, vomiting and constipation on ozempic. Therefore, I have decided not to take it. I have lost 11 pounds in 4 weeks during Ramadhan when I was fasting; basically just having a meal or two small meals in the evening and strength training with some cardio.

  3. Just love when no health care professionals meaning they have no formal medical training, start to display certain studies on Ozempic based on their own criteria to other people and dispense advise. As a pharmacist and workout enthusiast, I am unsubscribing. When Vioxx appeared on the market, people started taking it for all types of pain and was taken off the market due to negative cardiovascular effects. If celebrities are taking it off label it doesn’t mean the medication is safe.

  4. I just started Rybelsus by pill form. I am a gym rat so I will be taking this drug along with 4 to 5 days of exercise with weight training I think I will lose more of my genetically predisposed belly , hip fat.
By medical standards at 234 lb, I’m obese. So before going pre diabetic I think this will help.

  6. Having been sick with autoimmune diseases since age 23, I will say you’re crazy to take pharma when you aren’t required to do so to survive. It will have long term negative effects on the body no matter what they say. And anything that causes the side effects this causes is troubling.

  7. I would follow an advice from a pharmacist or a medical professional only on anything intended to be injected into my body.

  8. I’ve taken Ozempic when i was pre-diabetic. My insurance no longer approves it because my A1C is normal now. My endocrinologist prescribed Wegovy. I do well on semaglutides. No unpleasant side effects for me. Without making changes to my nutrition, it wouldn’t have helped as it does for me. I do see a weightloss doctor and my diet is calorie deficit, certain amounts of high protein, low low carbs. Im almost at my goal weight and we’ll work on planning my nutrition to maintain my goal weight.

  9. Melissa you are correct. I am in ozempic and it is all about a healthy diet. If ppl eat badly then diarrhea will definitely happen. There is no easy route even using those drugs for weight loss, period. Its not a healthy weight loss. It definitely depends on the diet and exercise. No easy way out. Still have to put in the work. Just that simple.

  10. I’ve been taking a very small dosage of Semaglutide and have had wonderful results. I’m premenopausal and thankfully I’ve had no side effects other than fatigue. It’s not a “quick fix” as you should still exercise and eat well but I’ve had a great experience with it as far as suppressing cravings and losing stubborn belly fat.

  12. Thanks for this information. My experience at 58yrs on Ozampic for 6 months was not positive. Meaning no weight loss at all. I lost 30lbs the year before starting the drug and after starting the weight loss stoped. Must mention I weight train 5 days a week with a pro bodybuilder. My nutrition is on point. Followed by an endocrinologist. He concluded it was a metabolism issue. I stopped Ozampic and within 2 weeks notice positive improvement. Weight is starting to move down again. Could only consider the slowing down of food through the digestive system would decrease my metabolism. It was difficult in the end to eat my full amount of protein and vegetables as my stomach felt too full . High protein helps to burn fat and increase metabolism as well. High vegetables as well. His scale that measures fat and muscle weight did not read any change in 6 mts. It’s difficult to follow such a strict regime with out results. I tried Ozampic as a means to increase my results but the opposite is true. I thought to share my experience. Happy I am feeling much better, and weight is going down again after 2 weeks off Ozampic. For me persistent and patients is key. Hope my experience may be helpful to others going through the same. 😊

  13. I did the HCG injection diet under a doctor`s supervision, I lost 12 kgs in 34 days. Starting weight 87kg/172cm. Very effective, no side effects, only lost fat in problem areas, not in the face, boobs and butt. And it has been around for almost 50 yrs, well researched. I wouldn`t use Ozempic, etc, not enough research around.

I lost 168lbs on my own, just to gain it all back do to mental health issues, with going to a dietician, and mental health, and with a weight loss drug it helped, my cousin is on this one, and my pre- diabitc daughter this drug has already helped my cousin; i am hoping to help my daughter that has bone disease with, develomental problems, and mental illness, she cannot just get up and go like someone of us can neither can my cousin this drug will help aide in much needed weightloss, so they can properly workout with the diet. It is a short term drug once the weight is off they know longer take the drug. It is good for obese people not the rich and famous it is for those with serious medical problems jump start weigjt loss.
