  1. Happy New Year everyone! ❤ A little New Year’s favour pretty please ☺️ will you please give this video a like? Even 1 like really helps our community to grow! ❤ have a great new year! Let’s do this 💪🏾

  2. Calorie counting works. The people who fail aren’t counting properly. It’s just science.

In the example about the processed vs cooked food, they didn’t have the same calories. As he said, the processed group had 200 more calories.

However, weight loss/eating is emotional, so it’s understandable that not everyone can stick to counting.

  3. Right, this is one I feel I should avoid, every single thing I’ve seen from this guy I completely disagree with, the intro has wound me up so going to listen with an open mind and see if I agree with anything

  4. Steven, the worlds expert on nutrition just told you that processed foods and vitamins are useless, how do you still advertise Huel?

  5. Check out the book Ending Your Carb Confusion by Dr. Eric Westman and Dr. Amy Berger. I tried keto but realized the most important thing was just to go low carb and eliminate the grains and seed oils. I also highly recommend watching the documentary Fat Fiction, which was free on YouTube recently. I would love to see you interview any of the experts in that film including Nina Teicholz, Mark Hyman, and one of my British favorites, Dr.. David Unwin. Three years later I know it is very sustainable.

  6. I get the overall all premise of his argument but where I’m lost is the idea that counting calories doesn’t help you lose weight. It absolutely does, if you understand that calories is energy for your body on a basic level, and if you take in more energy than your body needs, it will be stored as fat, how can counting that not be important to weight lost?

Yes , I get the idea everyone body, isnt the exact same but there isn’t a person who can eat less calories than exert daily and not lose weight.

  7. The diet of an individual needs to be catered to the individual based on a specific variety of genetic and environmental factors. As a personal trainer for whole adult life it’s the key to our jobs. The future of personal training and medicine is inevitable to come together for a better future

  8. Will you be reconsidering your Huel adverts after talking to Tim Spector? Huel looks suspiciously like an ultra processed food.

  9. Happy new year Steve! 🎉 wishing you all the best for the new year! Thank you for all the podcasts and the fantastic content, may it long continue! In watching these podcasts, I am teaching my children from a young age how to take care of themselves, giving them a good start for a much better future ❤️

  10. You have timed the release of this podcast perfectly as the world seeks to start a new year new me routine! I really enjoyed the podcast and will be looking further into Tim’s work to support my ongoing journey of health and well being, thank you 🙏 💫
