where the crawdads sing is one of the best books I have read. I dont recommend that you watch the movie before reading the book. The book is much better and has a lot of interesting details that are not in the movie.
Jess, I might have missed it but on your feed days do you track your macros? Make sure you get enough fat and protein? I found that when I was fasting last summer I was not re-feeding properly and was feeling rather weak. So I’m genuinely curious because I do love to fast and I’m a little hesitant to start fasting again.
For me, when I sit down to eat the first bite is so delicious. Then, halfway through or so it doesn’t taste that good anymore. That’s my cue to stop and put down the fork.
I use to hiccup when my body said I was full. Not sure where it went, but I wish it would come back. Good luck. 🍀
I began intermittent fasting last year on August 1 and haven’t missed a day since. I’ve gotten rid of 20 pounds! Nothing else worked in years. I have 10 to 15 more pounds I want to get rid of this year. And I know I will because this works.🎉🎉

I am intermittent fasting but need the scale to move. I have been doing omad. I am excited to see how alternative day fasting works for you. I started with keto IF, added fasting, now doing ADF with carnivore eating 1 meal every other day. It is so easy for me. Fasting simple as I know I’ll eat tomorrow. Love the energy and focus I have. I did deal with my mindset. It wasn’t food that got me heavy, it was the food I put in my mouth that did. I evaluated why I self medicated with food and cleared that way. Now my motivation is to gain a healthy weight.
I might do more fast next month. I want to clamp down on a few other things first.
Gin Stephen’s book….Fast. Feast. Repeat. has been a life saver for me. No counting anything anymore. When my eating window is closed, it’s closed. My diet brain is healing for once in my life. I am so happy that I am free. Blessings ❤️
