  1. Back in my SAD days, I used to drive home from work and literally at the same point in the road assess how many gummy bears I had for my after dinner treat. If I was in any danger of being without plenty, I’d stop at the drugstore for my ‘drug’. They say the way to get past addictions is to replace with something else (mine was Lily’s Chocolate at that time). I’d say #1 don’t allow it in your house and #2 give yourself a substitute #3 give the substitute at least one month. Have you ever tried butter and salt in your coffee (frothed)?   2. Have you tried putting a chocolate LMNT in your coffee? I guess that wouldn’t work on strict BBBE either, but salt is supposed to take away some bitterness.

  3. It’s so hard to give up but Cassie you got this! I had to give up coffee to kick the cream but sure enough it would find It’s way back in my fridge eventually. Cheese and cream feed also slow my weight loss, so that gives me motivation to get rid of it. I’ll be cheering everyone on with the challenge cause I just can’t. I need variety 😫

  4. I was right there with you on the cream addiction but I’ve got to the point now where I put 1 egg, 2 Tbsp of butter, and a pinch of Redmond’s real salt in my coffee and it’s mmm…mmmm…good.

  6. I feel ya sista! I have to give up coffee also, it is definitely causing inflammation in my body! The egg trick got me off the heavy cream, but once I found out the carageenan turned into a carcinogen when it mixes with stomach acid, I gave it up without a second thought! My brain works differently as in that once I find out something is toxic, I give it up without a fight 🎉 I am excited for the April challenge!

    I froth about 1/3 stick of butter in my coffee. It’s delicious

  8. I drank 6 cups of coffee black for years have it up within 24hrs went through detox for 4 days was brutal. But now I feel amazing. It’s was harder then giving up cigarettes. You got this. Never used dairy but I’ve been keto 40yrs never used dairy due to extreme allergies.

  10. Great video as always! I’d like to ask if you have tried canned coconut milk? AROY-D is the best one. I am asking because I am now 2+ weeks carnivore, and in the past I have been Keto. My point: I have used whey protein as a supplement but it is lean, no fat. So I would use the recommended serving of canned coconut milk, 1/2 cup, with water and whey protein to make a fatty protein shake. It worked wonders. It does take some time to get used to it in coffee, but it beats drinking it black. Would you try it and tell us what you think? I know it is plant based, but it is high in fat and 1 half cup serving only has 2 carbs. 1 or 2 TBSP in a cup of coffee is less than 1 carb. Thank you for what you both are doing!!

  12. I’ve been off cheese for 2.5 weeks. I haven’t had withdrawals and I’m down 5lbs already but I’m just mad that I can’t enjoy cheese goddamnit lol

  14. Blonde roast has more caffiene than dark because not cooked as long. On 6th week of bbb&e, doing 2 meals a day. On day 2 of 1 meal a day. I dont like coffee without cream, so i quit drinking. Lots of plain iced green tea lately.
