***Note: In the Wegovy trial, the trial that studied Semaglutide specifically for weight loss, in one of the arms there were actually 1,961 patients who did not have diabetes.***

Now, you may be wondering whether these injections are the ultimate way to lose weight. And let’s be honest, there’s a lot of controversy surrounding injections like Ozempic, Wegovy, and Semaglutide. Some people think that celebrities and those living with obesity who use injections for weight loss are just being lazy. But is that really the case?
First off, let’s talk about obesity. It’s a serious medical condition that affects a lot of people. In fact, did you know that 70% of adults in the United States are either overweight or living with obesity? That’s why it’s important to find ways to tackle this issue. Obesity can lead to serious health problems like heart disease, strokes, diabetes, and even cancer. So, it’s definitely not just about how you look.
In this video, I’m going to discuss the pros and cons of using Ozempic and other injections for weight loss. We’ll take a deep dive into how Semaglutide or Ozempic works and what clinical trials have shown. But of course, we’ll also discuss the potential risks, dangers, and complications of using these injections.
So, if you’re curious about whether Ozempic and other weight loss injections could be right for you, stick around. I’m going to give you my own professional opinion on whether these injections are worth trying or if there are better options out there. So, grab a cup of coffee, sit back, and let’s chat about weight loss injections!

Very informative. VERY STRAIGHTFORWARD… ❤
Love your contact…BOSS!
What about Victoza?
Thank you Dr. Frita, I can always count on you for sensible advice. My Nurse Practioner asked if I wanted to try Ozempic and I immediately said yes. I fit all of the categories: morbid obesity, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid disease and so on. Somehow, i received the medication right away and instantly felt buyer’s remorse, I know longer wanted to do it. Well, I changed my mind again and I’m going to start giving myself the injections next Monday, I pray that I do well. 🙏 ❤
I have been on Mounjaro for past three months, perscribed for my type2 Diabetes. My blood sugar has decreased but my weight loss has been also been significant. The price is very costly.
Thanks again for another thought provoking and informative video. Take care.
Thanks for the information 🙂
Dr. Frits actually broke down where I get visual idea of what I want to do.
I have found that to keep my weight in check is to do a cleanse every few years, to flush all the toxins out of my body first, then I lose all the desire to eat junk food and my body actually desires healthy food but that’s me and NOT overweight but sometimes get 20 pounds too heavy. When I slim down I feel better and can move around better and life is better in general.
If you don’t have a life to live, you’ll not live your life to the fullest. Most folks don’t care about living. You need a reason to live!!! Most people feel they don’t. That’s the heart of the issue. “LIFE” check out most homeless people.
My doc took me off the other DM meds due to kidney issues. He put me on ozempic. It’s been about eight months and just recently my BS are finally in the normal range. I have lost ten pounds. Frankly, I lost much more weight quicker with Weight Watchers. The appetite depressant part was concerning for me but that has stabilized because I don’t eat out nearly as much because restaurant food is gross compared to my home cooking. It’s hasn’t been the quick fix that people think. You are telling it like it is. Also unfortunately it is very expensive.
Thank you…
So which one would you recommend
I talked to my doctor in great length about this and I we formulated a plan to do Wegovy short term to get me started on weight loss. I think long term I will modify my lifestyle and food intake and choices. That’s the ultimate goal 👍👍👍
Hello, it’s been a while.
